My dream By Qiao Rui
Travel! Travel! Traveling is a big dream of mine, and it will be all of my life. In fact, I only traveled to great places for three or four times. But I fell in love with it. It’s just that I don’t like traveling with tourist guides and any other people (also my families). And I don’t like visit historic site. So many people enjoy doing this. How imagine it is! I enjoy the natural environment, like the clear sky, the blue sea, the colorful flowers, the green grass, the trees… even the immensity of desert and forest. I particularly like the island in the sea.
Although I have a big dream, I am a junior high school student now. I am in the Grade.3. Now I think my grades are just so-so. I often make mistakes carelessly in the test. And I think that my English isn’t as good as I hope. And I want to be in America in the future. So I want to improve it. It will be a long time. But now I have no time. I will take part in a very important examination next year. There is only less than one year. I have to stop finishing the long plans to carry out the current work. All the things I have for now are studying hard and trying my best to join the No.2 Senior High School. That means I have to give up something important for a moment.
Luckily, I can’t do it now, but I will do it late on. I have more than 2 months between graduating from junior high school and joining the senior high school. I will have a big improvement in English. And I will collect information about how to join the American university in the Internet. I will get ready to join the senior high school.
The No.2 senior high school is the most wonderful school that so many students want to be in. I make sure that I will join it. During my life in it, I will work very hard. But the most important thing for me is improving my English. I must join the language exams to get the qualifications for the American school when I am in Grade.2. And I have to join the American universities’ examinations. Then I will fly to the United States for university.
When I am a university student, I am 18 years old. That means I am adult. I can plan things for myself. I will study in an American school. Because university students in the American not choosing the specialty for a moment is allowed. / Because the American university allows students not to choose the specialty for a moment. I don’t know what specialty fits me well. I once thought about choosing the financial specialty (Because it can make me get more money.), but……who knows what will happen in the future! Another reason is that I can practice my English all the day. When I am sophomore, I will speak English as well as a native speaker of English. After graduating from the college, I’ll go on making an advanced study.
I’ll find a good job in America when my study over and done with. The importance of my job is having day-off. The holiday can give me time and freedom to travel. I will travel all the quiet, beautiful and the most natural places that so many people never go. And one day, when I get enough money, I may become a professional traveler!
“Good dream!” When I told my father about my dream, he said with a smile, “Although I never think about that you may study in American university, you can have a try. But there is a big problem. It is your poor English. You must improve it, or you have to study in the Chinese university. And then when you grade from the college, you can make an advanced study in foreign countries!”
